Lorne Visitor Information Centre

| A visitor
information centre for the Surf Coast Shire, located on a
prominent site in the centre of town, catering for heavy tourist
demand on the Great Ocean Road as well as local craft retail
and community uses. It contains a shop, local attraction and
accommodation services, a local history display area, meeting
rooms, and work and stock rooms. Incorporating many ESD initiatives
there is a focus on connecting the interior with the extensive
landscaping and views across the outdoor deck to the Erskine
River. |
