| The Shire
Council requested an innovative and highly visible building
at the entrance to Mansfield, forming a gateway to the winter
snow and summer bush activities area of the High Country.
The building encourages visitors to stop in the town and,
activating a group of historic buildings with arts and cultural
uses, is a focus for community pride. The materials and forms
reflect the textures, colours and imagery of the area and
the building comprises public information, interpretive displays
and staff work areas. |
