The Earth House residence fits snugly into the rolling rural landscape at Red Hill in Victoria. The house has a warm and homely atmosphere and features innovative use of materials including pise walls and curving battened plywood ceilings. The beauty and inventiveness of this residence was recognised in 1994 with two awards : the RAIA Victorian Chapter Commendation for Outstanding Architecture and The Age Public Award for Architecture.
